About us
The church started as home cell group by Pastor Fred, with a handful of believers from the Elim Church, Camberwell, under Rev. Dr. Sam Larbie in 1994, in his home in New Cross. It became a branch of Camberwell in 1995 at a rented premises at Surrey Quays, moved a year later to Forest Hill and finally to its own building in Catford. In December, 2009, it became an autonomous Elim Church.
The church is a very vibrant one with congregational members drawn from Africa, The Caribbean and Europe and beyond with majority of its membership from the Catford community. It is gladdening to note that more than 60% of its membership has been around for more than ten years. We have a humble congregation of about 200 and still growing
The congregation is governed by a Church Governing Board made up of trust- worthy members. Every department of the church is led by a departmental leader who is also part of the church leadership. The leadership meets regularly to oversee the issues that will move the church forward.
The church leadership still acknowledges the Rev. Dr. Sam. Larbie, of the Camberwell church, now in Rushey Green, as our spiritual leader.

Head Pastor
Pastor Fred is an outstanding fiery and humorous, motivational speaker/preacher, in high demand and has travelled extensively around the world. He has been an Elim minister since 1995.
He is passionate about bringing out the best in people and leading them to their fullest potentials in Christ.

Youth Ministry
Youth is a unique period of life, one filled with exploration, discovery, excitement and fulfillment. The Church Youth Ministry provides a nurturing, loving environment for young people exploring the world. It is a safe place where faith guides exploration and self-discovery.
Children's Ministry
